Getty Images Gallery in London is hosting a collection of rare imagery, memorabilia and clothing in an exhibition dedicated to the icon.

Marilyn includes images from Getty's archives showing the star as an aspiring actress on the cusp of success. There will be a selection of original dresses and costumes worn by Monroe and original video clips, making  it a definite must for anyone interested in her style and life story.

Gallery director, Louise Garczewska, says the show offers "unparalleled and rare access to Marilyn's life through the iconic imagery from Getty Images' extensive archival collection.

David Gainsborough Roberts has kindly loaned us Marilyn's dresses which the public can see in London for the first time ever, making this exhibition a perfect tribute to one of Hollywood's greats."

We've added a few 50's dresses that would look lush on any monroe fan:

classic red polka dot halterneck £29.99 + P&P
Dot-ful Gesture Dress £51.11+P&P

2 in 1 monochrome dress £18
